Playable races in darkfall

Six playable races are divided into three factions in Darkfall. Character choices or progression options will not be heavily influenced by racial choice, which is different from that in other MMORPGS. To start playing in races own homeland, each race has their own unique storylines, histories, and racial alliances/enemies. Mixed-race clans are unable to be formed to oppose factions while it is always effective to adjust racial alignment.
Friendship and hatred between certain races can be established in Darkfall. There are not strict enforcements placed on the player, so allied clans are allowed to declare war on both their own race and their racial allies. By declaring war against a clan, players of the declaring clan can exempt from penalties associated with attacking and killing players of the opposing clan, regardless of race.
